All work undertaken by ABCS is carried out under the control and supervision of its two directors:
I.G. Dunn BSc., PhD., CBiol., MIFM
Fisheries Biologist and Limnologist. With ABCS since 1974
Dr Dunn has research and development experience in Fisheries, Fishculture and Environmental Studies in Africa, Central America, Middle East, Indian sub-continent, Far East and China. Formerly Team Leader of the International Biological Programme' Royal Society Freshwater Team on Lake George, Uganda. FAO/UNDP expert on Fisheries and Fishculture in Rwanda. Consultant to FAO, WFP, UNESCO,UNCDF and IFAD. Honorary Treasurer of the Freshwater Biological Association.
C. J. Smith J.P., CEnv, MIFST, MIFM
Microbiologist and Recreational Fisheries Specialist. With ABCS since 1975
Mr Smith is experienced in the development and management of recreational fisheries and amenity waters; including environmental surveys of coastal and inland waters. He is also experienced in the chemical biological and microbiological analyses of waters, trade effluents, foods and drinks.
Formerly Chief Microbiologist with London-based consultants and analysts.

JACKIE HOBBS
Operations Manager. With ABCS since 1991
Responsible for general administration and project coordination.
Associates
ABCS is able to draw on a pool of experts in specialised fields, and encourages a collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach to its larger projects.

Specialist in tropical artisanal fisheries and fishing industry development, and field project management.

Management and maintenance of electrical installations, alarm systems and fire safety.

Management of maintenance and sub-contractor supervision

Specialised in sampling the aquatic environment, aquatic weed control and water management.
